The Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Informatics, Burapha University, held the COOP Day 2024 event on October 24, 2024, on the 11th floor of the Faculty of Informatics Conference Room. The event provided a platform for students to present the results of their cooperative education experiences and exchange knowledge with industry partners under the theme “Intelligent Software Innovation for Sustainable Organizational Future.”
The event aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of software and intelligent technologies in fostering innovation and sustainable solutions for organizations. The focus was on improving operational efficiency and reducing resource consumption. The initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
- SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure – Promoting sustainable industry, innovation, and infrastructure
- SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Fostering decent work and sustainable economic growth
- SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – Developing sustainable cities and communities
The event was officially opened by Assistant Professor Pusit Kulkasem, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics. Assistant Professor Dr. Doldao Wongteerathon, Assistant to the President, delivered a thank-you speech to the participating companies and presented honorary awards to representatives from eight companies:
