The Education and Training for Automation 4.0 in Thailand or ETAT project has a new chapter. Between 12 â 15 June 2023 was a special event in Bad Pyrmont, Germany, where the PLCnext technology locates, the Phoenix Contact. Beside the 14th General Meeting of ETAT project, the ETAT consortium had several valuable workshops provided by PhoenixContact TechEducation along with EduNet World Association e.V. (EWA), the world-wide educational network for automation and industry 4.0.The General Meeting went very well. The Thai partners presented their work progresses during last months, with the helps of European partners, such as course materials constructing, e-learning platform setting up, certified ETAT training program, business planning, etc. Within the EduNet Network, the Faculty of Informatics, on behalf of Burapha University, put all the energy to get the work done. We concentrate on training and education at the BUU ETAT Training Center, which will be running after the ETATâs lifetime. This center will be a hub for PLCnext Training in the Eastern part of Thailand, and therefore, the EEC area. We are looking forward to doing Reskill/Upskill as well as upgrading the courses at the Burapha University related to Information Technology and Automation Technology.
